R-70-13 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />ACCEPT A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $21,490 FROM THE CALIFORNIA <br />GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT AWARD AND <br />AMEND THE 2013/2014 FISCAL BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July <br />1, 2013 and ending June 30, 2014 was approved and adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br />the City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, On August 14, 2013 The California Governor's Office of Homeland <br />Security Grant was awarded to the Colton Police Department in the amount of $21,490; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does resolve as follows: <br />Section 1. The California Governor's Office of Homeland Security Grant was <br />awarded to the Colton Police Department in the amount of $21,490. Increase Expenditure <br />Account 225-6070-7002-2301-0000-014 by $15,190 and increase Expenditure Account 225- <br />6070-7002-4930-0000-014 by $6,300 and increase Revenue Account 225-5890-005 by <br />21,490. <br />Section 2.
