R-73-13 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT AGREEMENT NO. N-016 TO THE ADMINISTERING AGENCY -STATE MASTER AGREEMENT NO. 08-5065R FOR THE MORRIS ELEMENTARY AND WILLIAM JEHUE MIDDLE SCHOOL SAFE ROUTE TO SCHOOL PROJECT WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton desires to improve the traffic and pedestrian safety within the City jurisdiction; and WHEREAS, the City of Colton has received a Federal Safe Route to School Funding for the Morris Elementary and William Jehue Middle School Safe Route to School Project; and WHEREAS, the City of Colton has received authorization from Caltrans to proceed with the Construction Phase for the Morris Elementary and William Jehue Middle School Safe Route to School Project; and WHEREAS, the State requires that the Program Supplement Agreement No. N-016 to Administering Agency -State Master Agreement No. 08-5065R be fully executed by the City and the State before any invoices for reimbursement can be processed; and WHEREAS, the State requires that the City adopt and attach a resolution identifying the project and the official authorized to execute the Program Supplement Agreement No. N-016 to the Administering Agency -State Master Agreement No. 08-5065R; and NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute the Program Supplement Agreements No.N-016 to the Administering Agency -State Master Agreement No. 08-5065R for the Morris Elementary and William Jehue Middle School Safe Route to School Project.
