I RESOLUTION NO. R-08-12 <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, PRIORITIZING PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED BY COMMUNITY <br />3 DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2012-2013 <br />4 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton elected to enter into a <br />5 Cooperation Agreement with the County of San Bernardino in order to receive <br />6 Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") funds; and <br />8 WHEREAS, as a "Cooperating City," the City of Colton anticipates receiving <br />9 $414,330 in CDBG funds for fiscal year 2012-2013; and <br />10 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, as the governing body of the City of Colton, is <br />11 required by statute to take a formal action approving a prioritized list of projects to be <br />12 funded with CDBG funds for fiscal year 2012-2013 that comply with CDBG program <br />13 regulations and subject to available funding; and <br />14 <br />C. 15 WHEREAS, the City Council seated a committee, known as the CDBG <br />16 Committee, comprised of four (4) City Council members and four (4) Planning <br />17 Commissioners, to review the eligible projects and make funding recommendations to <br />181 the Council; and <br />19 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is required to inform the County of San <br />20 Bernardino regarding the priority of eligible projects to be funded with CDBG funds <br />21 for fiscal year 2012-2013. <br />22 <br />23 V NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of <br />24 Colton, as follows: <br />25 <br />26 SECTION 1.
