R-10-12 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO ACCEPT <br />A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $29,921.00 FROM THE CALIFORNIA <br />GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF THE HOMELAND SECURITY, AWARD AND AMEND <br />THE FISCAL YEAR 2011/2012 BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2011 and ending June 30, 2012, was approved and adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, January 11, 2011, the California Governor's Office of Homeland Security <br />Grant was awarded to the Colton Police Department in the amount of $29,921.00; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does resolve as follows: <br />Section 1 It is necessary to approve and accept this California Governor's Office of Homeland <br />Security Grant Award in the amount of $29,921.00 to the Expenditure Account <br />225-6070-7003-1180 and Revenue Account 225-5890-005 <br />Section 2 The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20" day of March, 2012 <br />
