R-30-12 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />APPROVING THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION CONTRACT <br />CSPP-2413 FOR THE PROVISION OF PRESCHOOL CHILDCARE SERVICES <br />IN THE HUMAN SERVICES DIVISION OF THE COMMUNITY SERVICES <br />DEPARTMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2012-13 <br />WHEREAS, the State of California Department of Education has approved the State <br />Preschool Contract CSPP-2413 for fiscal year 2012-13, and; <br />WHEREAS, this contract will provide $372,888 of funding to enable the City of <br />Colton to provide preschool childcare services to approximately 98 Colton families. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as <br />follows: <br />Section 1: The staff report accompanying this resolution is found to be true, adopted as <br />findings, and incorporated into this resolution. <br />Section 2: City Council approves the State of California Contract CSPP-2413, for the <br />provision of preschool childcare services through the Community Services Department. <br />Section 3: The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign the applicable documents on behalf <br />of the City to execute this agreement. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17a' day of July, 2012. <br />ATTEST: <br />EILEEN C.
