R-37-12 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE <br />THE PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT AGREEMENTS TO THE ADMINISTERING <br />AGENCY -STATE MASTER AGREEMENT NO. 5065R FOR THE SEISMIC <br />RETROFIT PROJECT FOR BRIDGE NO. 54C-0078 (5065-015), 54C-0079 (5065- <br />016), 54C-0100 (5065-017), 54C-0375 (5065-018), 54C-0384 (5065-019) AND 54C- <br />0599 (5065-020) <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton desires to improve the safety <br />of the bridges within City jurisdiction; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has received a Highway <br />Bridge Program (HBP) Funding to complete the Preliminary Engineering Phase of <br />Seismic Retrofit for Bridges No. 54C-0078 (STPLZ 5065-015), 54C-0079 (STPLZ 5065- <br />016), 54C-0100 (STPLZ 5065-017), 54C-0375 (STPLZ 5065-018), 54C-0384 (STPLZ <br />5065-019) AND 54C-0599 (STPLZ 5065-020); and <br />WHEREAS, the State requires that the Program Supplement Agreements to <br />Administering Agency -State Master Agreement No. 5065R be fully executed by the City <br />and the State before any invoices for reimbursement can be processed; and <br />WHEREAS, the State requires that the City adopt and attach a resolution <br />identifying the project and the official authorized to execute the Program Supplement <br />Agreements to the Administering Agency -State Master Agreement No. 5065R. <br />
