R-49-12 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT <br />AGREEMENT NO. 013-N TO THE ADMINISTERING AGENCY -STATE MASTER <br />AGREEMENT NO. 5065R FOR THE LA CADENA DRIVE OVER SANTA ANA RIVER <br />BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton desires to improve the safety of the bridges <br />within City jurisdiction; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has received a Highway Bridge Program (HBP) Funding for <br />the La Cadena Drive Over Santa Ana River Bridge Replacement Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has received authorization from Caltrans to proceed with the <br />Preliminary Engineering for the La Cadena Drive Over Santa Ana River Bridge Replacement Project; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the State requires that the Program Supplement Agreements to Administering <br />Agency -State Master Agreement No. 5065R be fully executed by the City and the State before any <br />invoices for reimbursement can be processed; and <br />WHEREAS, the State requires that the City adopt and attach a resolution identifying the <br />project and the official authorized to execute the Program Supplement Agreements to the <br />Administering Agency -State Master Agreement No. 5065R; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby <br />authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute the Program Supplement Agreements No.013-N <br />to the Administering Agency -State Master Agreement No. 5065R for the La Cadens Drive over Santa <br />Ana River Bridge Replacement Project. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th DAY OF AUGUST 2012. <br />ATTEST: <br />EILEEN C.
