I RESOLUTION NO. R-72-12 <br />2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />3 CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2012/2013 BUDGET TO INCREASE <br />THE WATER BUDGET BY $18,000 AND WASTEWATER BUDGET BY $72,648. <br />4 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and <br />5 <br />6 existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); and <br />7 WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for fiscal year commencing July <br />8 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2013 was approved on June 19, 2012; and <br />9 <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable <br />10 <br />ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />11 <br />12 WHEREAS, the reallocation of the appropriations between departmental <br />13 activities may be made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to the <br />14 budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council; and <br />15 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is dedicated to improving <br />16 <br />City infrastructure of the City; and <br />17 <br />18 WHEREAS, on July 17, 2012, the City Council of the City of Colton approved <br />19 Utility Agreements with San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG) for the <br />20 relocation of sewer main and water main/fire hydrant for the I-215 High Occupancy <br />21 <br />Vehicle (HOV) Project; and <br />22 <br />23 WHEREAS, the funding has been identified for the allocation of this project by <br />24 drawing from reserves. <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />
