R-78-12 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON INCREASING REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE <br />ALLOCATIONS IN THE COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT <br />FOR FISCAL YEAR 2012-2013 TO ACCOUNT FOR THE <br />RECEIPT OF STATE LIBRARY LITERACY FUNDING <br />WHEREAS, the Community Services Department has received funding from <br />the California State Library for the Colton Public Library Literacy Program, in the <br />amount of $27,732, and; <br />WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2013 has been approved and adopted, and; <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities <br />may be made by the City Manager, and amendments (increases/decreases) to the <br />budget shall be by approval and resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The staff report accompanying this resolution is found to be <br />true, is adopted as findings, and incorporated into this resolution. <br />SECTION 2: The City Council accepts the $27,732 for literacy funding <br />from the California State Library. <br />SECTION 3: An adjustment to the fiscal year 2012-2013 budget is <br />authorized, to account for receipt of the aforementioned funding. Allocations shall be <br />adjusted as follows. <br />Revenue Account 211-6745 shall be increased by $27,732 <br />Expenditure Account 211-6200-7101-1040 shall be increased by $4,555 <br />Expenditure Account 211-6200-7101-2280 shall be increased by $250 <br />Expenditure Account 211-6200-7101-2300 shall be increased by $1,700 <br />Expenditure Account 211-6200-7101-2301 shall be increased by $17,727 <br />Expenditure Account 211-6200-7101-2350 shall be increased by $3,500 <br />
