The City has reviewed the PEIR in light of this <br />expansion proposal and has concluded that the expansion would not alter any of the <br />conclusions in the PEIR. Further, no evidence before the City indicates that any of the <br />circumstances described in Section 21166 would arise as a result of approval of the <br />expansion of the enterprise zone. Therefore, the City Council has determined that no <br />subsequent or supplemental environmental impact report is required. <br />Section 3. Approval of SBVEZ Expansion. The City of Colton authorizes and <br />approves submittal of a request to the State of California for an expansion of the geographic <br />boundaries of the SBVEZ by the City of Colton, City of San Bernardino, the County of San <br />Bernardino and IVDA in accordance with the map of the expanded SBVEZ boundaries <br />attached to this Resolution as Exhibit "A." <br />Section 4. City Manager Authority. The City Manager is authorized and <br />directed to deliver a copy of this Resolution to the City of San Bernardino, County of San <br />Bernardino, IVDA and State of California, as appropriate, regarding the submittal of a <br />request to the State of California for an expansion of the geographic boundaries of the <br />SBVEZ. <br />Section 5. Effectiveness. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its <br />adoption. <br />Section 6. Notice of Determination. Staff is directed to file a Notice of <br />Determination with the San Bernardino County Clerk within five (5) working days of the <br />adoption of this Resolution. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 19th day of April, 2011. <br />ATTEST: <br />....,.,. <br />-2- <br />
