R-49-11 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON ADOPTING THE SAN BERNARDINO <br />COUNTY NON -MOTORIZED TRANSPORTATION PLAN. <br />WHEREAS, the San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG) has prepared anc <br />adopted the San Bernardino County Non -Motorized Transportation Plan dated March 2011; and, <br />WHEREAS, the San Bernardino County Non -Motorized Transportation Plan is <br />compliant with Streets and Highway Code Section 891.2 and the Regional Transportation Plan <br />(RTP); and, <br />WHEREAS, adopting the San Bernardino County Non -Motorized Transportation Plar <br />will support the City's goal to improve the quality of life and provide safety for non -motorizes <br />transportation; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City needs to adopt the San Bernardino County Non -Moto <br />Transportation Plan to be eligible for Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 3 <br />Bicycle Transportation Account (BTA) Fundings; and, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL DO HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the <br />City of Colton, State of California, hereby reaffirm and adopt the San Bernardino County Non - <br />Motorized Transportation Plan. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND <br />ATTEST: <br />1_14� <br />EILEEN C.
