R-57-11 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />TO ACCEPT A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $21,149 FROM THE <br />BYRNE JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT, BJA-2011-3031 AWARD AND <br />AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2011/2012 BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July <br />1, 2011 and ending June 30, 2012, was approved and adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br />the City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, On June 7, 2011 The Byme Justice Assistance Grant BJA-2011-3031 <br />was awarded to the Colton Police Department in the amount of $21,149; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does resolve as follows: <br />Section 1 It is necessary to approve and accept this Byrne JAG Grant, BJA-2011-3031 <br />Award in the amount of $21,149 to the Expenditure Account 225-6070-6084- <br />4930-0000-000 and Revenue Account 225-5890-001 <br />Section 2 The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND <br />ATTEST: <br />EILEEN C.
