I RESOLUTION NO. R-84-11 <br />2 <br />3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL . OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />APPROVING A CHANGE IN THE PAYING AND REPORTING OF THE VALUE OF <br />4 EMPLOYER PAID MEMBER CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE IBEW <br />5 WATERIWASTEWATER UNIT. <br />6 WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Colton has the authority to implement <br />7 Government Code Section 20636(c)(4) pursuant to Section 20691; <br />8 WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Colton has amended its written labor <br />9 policy or agreement which specifically provides for the normal member contributions to be <br />paid by the employer, and reported as additional compensation; <br />10 <br />WHEREAS, one of the steps in the procedures to implement Section 20691 is the <br />11 option by the governing body of the City of Colton of a Resolution to commence paying and <br />12 reporting the value of said Employer Paid Member Contributions (EPMC); pursuant to CCR <br />13 title 2 section 571(a)(1). <br />14 WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Colton has identified the following <br />15 conditions for the purpose of amending its election to pay EPMC; <br />16 • This benefit shall apply to all employees of the IBEW Water/Wastewater Unit. <br />17 • This benefit shall consist of paying 0% of the normal contributions as EPMC, and <br />18 <br />reporting the same percent of compensation earnable as additional compensation. <br />19 • The effective date of this Resolution shall be September 6, 2011. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the governing body of the City of <br />20 <br />Colton elects to pay and report the value of EPMC, as set forth above. <br />21 <br />22 PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of September, 2011. <br />23 <br />24 S S.
