R-03-11 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS AND <br />UTILITY SERVICES DIRECTOR TO SIGN RIGHT OF <br />WAY CERTIFICATION FORMS FOR FEDERALLY <br />FUNDED PROJECTS ADMINISTERED BY CALTRANS <br />LOCAL ASSISTANCE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton intends to apply for Federal -Aid projects related to <br />transportation, streets, and roads; and, <br />WHEREAS, to be eligible for such Federal -Aid projects, the Federal Highway <br />Administration, and the California Department of Transportation requires agencies to submit <br />Right of Way Certification Form for Local Assistance Project (Off State Highway System) to <br />comply with federal regulations defined in 23 CFR 635.309 (c)(1), (2), and (3); and, <br />WHEREAS, Exhibit "A" is a Right of Way Certification Form for Local Assistance <br />Project (Off State Highway System) provided by Caltrans that meets their requirements and the <br />City Council wishes to meet the requirements of the Federal and State authorities; and, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes <br />the City Manager or the City's Public Works and Utility Services Director to sign the Right of <br />Way Submittal Form on behalf of the City of Colton. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND <br />ATTEST: <br />-1i - Anyz� <br />EILEEN C.
