Incorporation of Recitals. The City Council hereby finds that all of the <br />foregoing recitals presented herewith are true and correct and are hereby incorporated and adopted <br />as findings of the City Council. <br />SECTION 2. Amendment to Colton Municipal Code Section 2.30 020. Code Section <br />2.30.020 of Chapter 2.30 of Title 2 of the Colton Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as <br />below for the purpose of allowing the appointment of Youth Commissioners to Commissions and <br />Committees of the City. Additions to Code Section 2.30.020 are underlined. <br />"2.30.020 — Composition of Commissions and Committees. <br />All Commissions and Committees of the City Shall be comprised of seven members <br />appointed on the recommendation of each Councilmember and the Mayor, and ratified by a <br />majority vote of the City Council. The City Council May also appoint 0 to two Youth <br />Commissioners for each Commission and Committee of the City. The position of Youth <br />Commissioner Shall be advisory only and Shall not vote on any Matters brought before any <br />Commission or Committee. The presence or absence of Youth Commissioners Shall have no <br />effect on the ability of a Commission or Committee to establish a quorum.,, <br />23152.06000\29736880.1 <br />
