The City Council hereby adopts the recitals and findings set forth <br />above and in the agenda report prepared in connection with this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 2. General Plan Consistency. Based on the entire record before the <br />City Council and all written and oral evidence presented, including the staff report and the <br />findings made in this Ordinance, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the proposed <br />Zone Text Amendment is consistent with the goals and policies of the City of Colton General <br />Plan. In addition, the proposed amendments are reasonably related to the public welfare because <br />they impose regulations that address and mitigate the potential adverse secondary effects of adult <br />businesses that may locate in the City of Colton. <br />SECTION 3. The City Council of the City of Colton hereby amends a portion of the table found <br />in Section 18.06.060 G - Industrial Districts Table - of the Colton Municipal Code relating to <br />Uses Permitted in each Zone, to read as follows (New text is shown in underline and bold and <br />deleted text is shown in strikes): <br />G. Industrial <br />I -P <br />M-1 <br />M-2 <br />Districts Table <br />Adult Businesses <br />N <br />NA <br />A <br />(See Chapter 18.49 <br />Adult Use <br />Regulations) <br />SECTION 4. The City Council of the City of Colton hereby amends and restates <br />Chapter 18.49 — Adult Use Regulations, in its entirety, to read as follows: <br />"Chapter 18.49 - ADULT USE REGULATIONS <br />Sections: <br />18.49.010 - Purpose. <br />The purpose of this chapter is to provide special design guidelines/standards and development <br />regulations which regulate the time, place and manner of the operation of adult use facilities in <br />order to minimize the negative secondary effects associated with such facilities. <br />45635.01000\20010817.1 -3- <br />
