The City Council hereby adopts the recitals and findings set forth at <br />and in the agenda report prepared in connection with this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 2. General Plan Consistency. Based on the entire record before the <br />Council and all written and oral evidence presented, including the staff report and the find <br />made in this Ordinance, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the proposed 2 <br />Text Amendment is consistent with the goals and policies of the City of Colton General Plan <br />is reasonably related to the public welfare of the citizens of the City and surrounding regi <br />Specifically, the provisions of this Zone Text Amendment pertain to emergency shel <br />supportive and transitional housing within residential, mixed-use and industrial zones, <br />reasonable accommodation for persons with disabilities to ensure consistency with state law <br />furthering the City's goals and policies as set forth in the City of Colton General Plan Hou <br />Element. <br />SECTION 3. Chapter 18.04 of Title 18 of the Colton Municipal Code pertaining <br />Definitions, is hereby amended modifying and adding as follows (New Text is shown <br />Underline and bold and deleted text is shown in strikethrou .): <br />Chapter 18.04 Definitions. <br />18.04.206 Family. <br />"Family" means <br />by blood, maiT-iage or adoption, lNing together as a single . one or <br />persons living together as a single housekeeping unit in a dwelling unit.
