NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council hereby adopts the recitals and findings set forth at and in the agenda report prepared in connection with this Ordinance. SECTION 2. General Plan Consistency. Based on the entire record before the Council and all written and oral evidence presented, including the staff report and the find made in this Ordinance, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the proposed 2 Text Amendment is consistent with the goals and policies of the City of Colton General Plan is reasonably related to the public welfare of the citizens of the City and surrounding regi Specifically, the provisions of this Zone Text Amendment pertain to emergency shel supportive and transitional housing within residential, mixed-use and industrial zones, reasonable accommodation for persons with disabilities to ensure consistency with state law furthering the City's goals and policies as set forth in the City of Colton General Plan Hou Element. SECTION 3.
