2020 FEBRUARY 18 CC/CUA/CPFA/CHA MEETING 3 - <br />Mayor Navarro declared the Public Hearing continued. <br /> <br />City Clerk Padilla submitted the Notice of Publication of the Public Hearing (on file in the City Clerk’s Office) and <br />there were no reports of protests or objections thereto. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation <br />Director Mark Tomich, Development Services, presented for Council consideration an overview of the agenda <br />item and requested direction to either of the following: (1) approve and adopt Resolution R-18-20 granting an <br />Appeal of the denial of the Planning Commission of certain applications as outlined; or (2) approve and adopt <br />Resolution No. R-114-19 denying an Appeal and upholding the denial by the Planning Commission of certain <br />applications as outlined; <br /> <br />Public Comment <br />The following community members addressed the Council: <br /> <br />Nonsupport of the project: <br />Richard Prieto <br />Larry Lord <br />Rachel Warner <br />Gary Grossich <br /> <br />Support of the project <br />Richard DeLaRosa <br />Frances O’Brian (Applicant) <br /> <br />Motion and Second by CM González/CM Woods to close the public hearing. <br />Vote: Unanimous <br /> <br />Council Discussion <br />Discernment and discussion between Councilmembers; with clarification provide by staff: Director Tomich; <br />City Attorney Campos; and Applicant O’Brian.
