2020 MARCH 03 CC/CUA/CPFA/CHA MEETING 4 - <br />City Attorney Reports/Reportable Action Update <br />City Attorney Campos informed Council of a previous closed session item that has now become final and thus <br />reportable; at this time we would like to report out a previous closed session action which has now become final <br />and we are now disclosing. In the case of Guevara, et al against the City of Colton, US District Court, Central <br />Division Case No. 5:315218-cv-02386 (RGK-SKx); on February 18, 2020, on a vote of 7-0, the City Council <br />approved a settlement in the amount of $575,000 to settle the case. The City also did not admit liability. A copy <br />of the settlement agreement is available for public disclosure. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />At 6:51 p.m. Mayor Navarro adjourned the Regular Council Meeting. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_________________________________ <br />Carolina R.
