2020 SEPTEMBER 01 CC/CUA/CPFA/CHA MEETING 2 - <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />(1) Zoning Text Amendment - Electric Fences <br /> <br /> TIME AND PLACE FIXED TO CONSIDER A PUBLIC HEARING TO INTRODUCE BY TITLE <br />ONLY ORDINANCE NO. O-10-19, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 18, CHAPTER 18.38 (FENCES, HEDGES AND <br />WALLS), SECTION 18.38.070 OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE, ORDINANCE NO. O-10-20. <br /> <br />Mayor Navarro declared the Public Hearing open. <br /> <br />City Clerk Padilla submitted the Notice of the Public Hearing (on file in the City Clerk’s Office) and there were no <br />reports of protests or objections thereto. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation <br />Director Mark Tomich, Development Services, presented for Council consideration an overview of the agenda <br />item and requested approval of staff’s recommendation. <br /> <br />Public Comment <br />The following community members addressed the Council: Keith Kaneko (electronic correspondence). <br /> <br />Motion and Second by MPT Suchil/CM González to close the public hearing. <br />Vote: Unanimous <br /> <br />Motion and Second by MPT Suchil/CM Koperski to waive full reading, read by title only and introduce <br />Ordinance No. O-10-20. <br />Vote: Unanimous <br /> <br />*************************************************************************** <br />Public Comment <br />None <br /> <br />*************************************************************************** <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Mayor Navarro presented the Consent Calendar Items 2 through 14. <br /> <br />Councilmembers present selected items for discussion and clarification by staff: CM Cisneros, Item #5, will be <br />voting NO on this item; MPT Suchil, Item #8; and CM Koperski Item 9. <br /> <br />Motion and Second by CM González/MPT Suchil to approve Consent Calendar 2 through 14; with CM <br />Cisneros Voting NO on Item 5. <br />Vote: Motion carried with CM Cisneros voting NO on Item 5. <br /> <br />(2) Minutes - Approval of Minutes for the City Council Regular Meeting Held on August 18, 2020, on file <br />in the Office of the City Clerk. <br /> <br />(3) Warrants - Approve US Bank voucher dated 07/23/2020 and totaling $33,741.14; voucher numbers <br />187304 to 187432 dated 08/06/20 and totaling $1,846,122.07; voucher numbers 187433 to 187549 dated <br />08/13/2020 and totaling $916,445.28 <br /> <br />(4) Treasurer's Report - Receive and File City Treasurer’s Report for June 2020.
