CITY OF COLTON <br />CITY COUNCIL/SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />FOR THE CITY OF COLTON/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY/ <br />COLTON PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY AND <br />COLTON HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />CLOSED SESSION MINUTES <br />January 5, 2016 <br />Closed Session Meeting was held on the above given date at 5:05 p.m., in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall. City Clerk Padilla opened the meeting to take nominations to facilitate the Closed <br />Session Agenda. Motion and Second by CM Toro/CM Jorrin submitted the name of CM Suchil. <br />Motion carried with CM Bennett/MPT Navarro/Mayor' DeLaRosa absent. Closed Session <br />Meeting continued with CM Suchil presiding. <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were, Toro, Jorrin, Gonzalez, Bennett (appeared at 5:07 p.m.), Suchil. <br />Absent: MPT Navarro, and Mayor DeLaRosa. <br />STAFFPRESENT <br />City Clerk Padilla. Absent: City Manager Smith and Assistant City Attorney Martinez. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None. <br />CM Suchil announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to Discuss Items A <br />and B. <br />CLOSED SESSION <br />A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — ANTICIPATED LITIGATION <br />Significant Exposure to Litigation, Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(2) <br />One (1) potential case, Charles McCann, Claim No. 14552757 <br />B. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6 <br />Agency Designated Representatives: City Manager / Human Resources Manager <br />Employee Groups: General Unit, Mid -Manager Unit, IBEW Electric and <br />Water/Wastewater, Colton Police Officers Association, Colton Police Dispatchers <br />Association, Colton Fire Association, Confidential Group, Executive Group <br />CM Suchil adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:10 p.m. and at 6:08 p.m., the meeting <br />reconvened, with all members present as heretofore; Mayor DeLaRosa presiding. <br />Asst. City Attorney Martinez announced that the City Council met in Closed Session and <br />discussed Items B; Item A was not discussed and will return at a later date.
