This is a significant and educational conference that focuses on <br />stimulating, encouraging and coordinating the communication of ideas and information among city <br />officials. This platform allows cities to develop broad support on issues and advocate those views to other <br />governmental agencies and the public. Strong emphasis is placed upon assisting city officials on improving <br />the quality of life and making services more efficient and responsive to the citizens. <br />As members of the League of California Cities, Mayor Pro Tem Deirdre Bennett and Councilmembers <br />Donald Sanders, Richard De LaRosa, Kelly Chastain, Betty Cook and James Grimsby have opted to attend <br />the upcoming Mayor & Council Executive Forum and Leadership Academy.
