COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 21, 1994 <br />A Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was <br />held on the above given date at 6:35 P. M., as duly noticed, Mayor <br />Gonzales presiding. <br />INVOCATION: <br />Invocation was offered by Chaplain Kim Starr. <br />ROLL CALL• <br />Councilmembers present were Bennett, Sandoval, Rios, Cisneros, <br />Cook, Beltran, and Mayor Gonzales. Also present were Interim City <br />Manager Winter, City Attorney Biggs and City Clerk Ramos. <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />Councilmember Beltran asked that Item 2 be pulled for the purpose <br />of roll call vote and further asked that Item 19 be pulled for <br />discussion. Councilmember Sandoval requested that Item 14 be <br />tabled to allow staff to conduct further study and he requested <br />that Iten 9 be pulled for discussion. <br />Item 2 <br />Councilmember Beltran declared concern over the expenditure of <br />thousands of dollars for automobile parts and to the lumber <br />company. He said he is aware of service orders which provide <br />pertinent detail and requested such accountability. Interim City <br />Manager Winter said he would investigate and would provide <br />information to the Mayor and Members of the City Council. <br />Item 9 <br />Councilmember Sandoval inquired <br />Cooley Ranch area. He asked <br />agreement be checked to find <br />operation of the fountains. <br />about the three fountains in the <br />that the landscape maintenance <br />out who is responsible for the <br />City Attorney Biggs advised that if there are questions that the <br />item be pulled before a notice of completion is signed. There was <br />a consensus of agreement that this subject be tabled. <br />Item 14 <br />Councilmember Sandoval said he had recently attended a meeting with <br />County Supervisor Eaves and he realized that the City must <br />investigate and move cautiously on the enterprise question.
