ADJOURNED REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />JANUARY 14, 1997 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 4:44 p.m., in the Council <br />Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Gaytan presiding. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Bennett, Cook, Chastain, Hutton, Sanders, and Mayor Gaytan. <br />Also present were City Attorney Biggs, City Manager Freeman, and City Clerk Barrera. <br />Councilmember Sandoval absent. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />City Attorney Biggs announced the City Council would meet in Closed Session pursuant to <br />Government Code Section 54956.9 to confer with its Labor Negotiator, Gracie Fernandez - <br />Harmon, regarding negotiations with representatives of the Police Rank & File, Police <br />Management, General Management/Confidential, and IBEW bargaining units. <br />At 4:45 p.m. Mayor Gaytan declared the meeting adjourned to Closed Session and at 5:30 <br />p.m. meeting reconvened with all Members present as heretofore. <br />City Attorney Biggs announced that the City Council did meet in Closed Session to confer <br />with Labor Relations Negotiator, Gracie Fernandez -Harmon regarding the negotiations with <br />the various represented bargaining units, however, it was determined that discussion would <br />be lengthy and, with consensus of City Council, it was decided that the item would be <br />discussed after the Special Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency ended. <br />RECESS: <br />Council recessed at 5:32 p.m. to take up the business of the Redevelopment Agency. <br />Council reconvened at 5:48 p.m. All Members present as heretofore. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />City Attorney Biggs announced the City Council would meet in Closed Session pursuant to <br />Government Code Section 54956.9 to confer with its Labor Negotiator, Gracie Fernandez - <br />Harmon, regarding negotiations with representatives of the Police Rank & File, Police <br />Management, General Management/Confidential, and IBEW bargaining units. <br />
