SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br />APRIL 21, 1997 <br />A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held at 4:45 p.m., on the above - <br />given date in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, located at 650 North La Cadena Drive, Colton, <br />California, Mayor Gaytan presiding. Notice of Special Meeting was given on April 17, 1997, in <br />compliance with Government Code Section 54956. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Mr. Mujica, Past President of the Gent's Organization, led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Sanders, Chastain, Cook, Bennett, and Mayor Gaytan. Also present <br />were City Manager Freeman, City Attorney Biggs, and City Clerk Barrera. Absent Councilmembers <br />Hutton and Sandoval. <br />W Me <br />Gent's Organization <br />Randy Anstine, Neighborhood Services Director, presented for Council approval, a request from the <br />Gent's Organization to have a beer garden at the Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration, May 3, 1997, to <br />be conducted at the Veteran's Park. <br />Mr. Mujica, Gent's Organization representative, explained that monies collected will be used to <br />support youth activities in the community. <br />Motion/second, by CM Sanders/Cook, to approve staff's recommendation.
