SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 30, 1997 <br />A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held at 6:14 p.m., on the above - <br />given date in the Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 650 North La Cadena Drive, Colton, <br />California, Mayor Gaytan presiding. Notice of Special Meeting was given on September 22, 1997, in <br />compliance with Government Code Section 54956. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Councilmember Bennett led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Bennett, Cook, Chastain, Hutton, Sanders, and Mayor Gaytan. Also <br />present were Interim City Manager Wood, City Attorney Biggs, and City Clerk Barrera. <br />Councilmember Sandoval was absent. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />City Attorney Biggs stated that City Council would meet in Closed Session pursuant to Government <br />Code §54957, with respect to public employee appointment: City Manager. <br />At 6:16 p.m. Mayor Gaytan declared the meeting adjourned to Closed Session and at 8:49 p.m. <br />meeting reconvened with all Members present as heretofore except for Councilmember Hutton. <br />City Attorney Biggs announced that the City Council did meet in Closed Session on the item <br />previously announced and declared there was no reportable action taken. <br />At 8:50 p.m. Mayor Gaytan declared the Meeting adjourned. <br />City Clerk <br />
