CITY OF COLTON <br />CITY COUNCIL JOINED WITH THE CITY OF COLTON UTILITIES COMMISSION <br />SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES <br />SEPTEMBER 17, 2002 <br />A Special Meeting of the City Council and the Utilities Commission for the City of Colton was <br />held at 5:35 p.m., on the above given date in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, located at <br />650 North La Cadena Drive, Colton, California, Mayor Bennett and Chairperson Jackson <br />presiding. Notice of Special Meeting was given on September 16, 2002, in compliance with <br />Government Code Section 54956. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council Members Present: <br />Council Members present were Hernandez, Mitchell, Ramos, Chastain, Zamora (Appeared at <br />5:40 p.m.), DeLaRosa (Appeared at 6:00 p.m.) and Mayor Bennett. Also present were City <br />Manager Parrish, City Attorney Derleth and City Clerk Barrera. <br />Utility Members Present: <br />Utility Members present were Perez, Wright, Bryant, Morua, Archuleta, Cordova and <br />Chairperson Jackson. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />City Attorney Dean Derleth announced that the City Council and Utility Commission would meet <br />in Closed Session to discuss Items No. 1 as listed below: <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — ANTICIPATED LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(b) <br />Number of Potential Cases: Unknown <br />At 5:38 p.m. Mayor Bennett declared the meeting adjourned to Closed Session and at 6:10 <br />p.m., the meeting was reconvened with all Members present as theretofore. <br />City Attorney Derleth reported that the Council Members did meet in Closed Session on Item <br />No. 1 as listed below: <br />1.
