Barrera, City Clerk <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST ISSUES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF May 6, <br />2003. <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Chastain asked the members present if there were any agenda items that <br />were a conflict of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed by members <br />present. <br />At 6:40 p.m. Member Mitchell left the dais. <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />Presentation - Claude E. Barton provided a brief presentation and provided handouts <br />on the Exotic New Castle Disease Task Force <br />➢ Proclamation - CM Ramos presented to Rafael Chavaria, Veterans Representative, <br />with a proclamation in honor of Veterans Appreciation Month. <br />➢ Proclamation - Mayor Pro Tempore Chastain presented to Lt. Bob Miller with a <br />proclamation in honor of National Police Week <br />➢ Proclamation - CM Hernandez presented to Ron Kenny, Director of Parks, Recreation <br />and Family Services in honor of Unity Day <br />2003 MAY 06 CC/RDA/CUA 1 <br />
