ORDINANCE NO. 0-8-87 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON APPROVING AND ADOPTING A REDEVELOPMENT <br />PLAN FOR THE MT. VERNON CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT <br />PROJECT AS THE OFFICIAL REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR <br />SAID PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton (the "Agency") <br />has formulated, prepared and approved a proposed Redevelopment Plan for the Mt. <br />Vernon Corridor Redevelopment Project (the "Redevelopment Plan") and has <br />recommended that the City Council of the City of Colton approve and adopt said <br />Redevelopment Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, said Redevelopment Plan has been prepared pursuant to California <br />Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Sections 33000 et seg.); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton has submitted its <br />report and recommendation on the proposed Redevelopment Plan, finding that the <br />proposed Redevelopment Plan is in conformity with the Colton General Plan, and <br />has recommended approval of the proposed Redevelopment Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency has adopted by reference Rules Governing Participation <br />and Preference by Property Owners, Operators of Businesses and Tenants for the <br />Mt. Vernon Corridor Redevelopment Project, which document meets the <br />requirements of California Community Redevelopment Law; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency has adopted by reference the Relocation Plan for the <br />Mt. Vernon Corridor Redevelopment Project, Drovidina for the reloca- <br />tion of persons, families and businesses from the Protect Area, the <br />payment of relocation benefits and the givinq of relocation assistance <br />to such persons, families and businesses, which document meets the re- <br />quirements of California Community Redevelopment Law; and <br />11 <br />
