1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 ORDINANCE NO. 0-22-88 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, LEVYING SPECIAL TAXES TO BE COLLECTED DURING FISCAL YEAR 1988-89 FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE PRINCIPAL OF AND INTEREST ON AND ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES WITH RESPECT TO THE BONDS OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 87-1 OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA AND FOR THE PAYMENT OF POLICE PROTECTION SERVICES AND FIRE PROTECTION AND SUPPRESSION SERVICES FOR THE BENEFIT OF SAID DISTRICT. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Findings. It is necessary that the City Council of the City of Colton levy special taxes pursuant to Section 53340 and 53358 of the Government Code for the payment of the principal of and interest on the outstanding bonds of Community facilities District No. 87-1, City of Colton, California (the "District"), for the payment of administrative expense incurred in connection with the levy and collection of said special taxes and the payment of such principal and interest, and for the payment of the cost of police protection services and fire protection and suppression services. Section 2. Levy of Special Taxes. Special taxes shall be and are hereby levied for the fiscal year 1988-89 on all parcels of real property within the District which are subject to taxation, which are identified in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and in the amount set forth for each parcel in said Exhibit "A". Pursuant to said Sections 53340 and 53358, such special taxes shall be collected in the same manner as ordinary ad valorem property taxes are collected, and shall be subject to the same penalities and the same procedure, sale, and
