1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />NO. 0-16 -92 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON GRANTING THE PRE -ZONE PROPOSAL, <br />KNOWN AS FILE INDEX NU14BER DPZ-17-92, FOR THE <br />SOUTH 46 (CAL -NAT AND VALLEY BOULEVARD) <br />ANNEXATION PURSUANT TO THE LOCAL AGENCY <br />FORMATION COMMISSIONS GENERAL PROCEDURES IN <br />REGARDS TO BOUNDARY CHANGES. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton did consider <br />the pre -zone proposal requested by the Community Development <br />Department for the South 46 Annexation to pre -zone the <br />unincorporated area south of the Interstate 10 Freeway around <br />Slover Mountain as M-2 (Heavy Industrial), and the unincorporated <br />section of Valley Boulevard to C-2 (General Commercial); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council did give notice of the Public <br />Hearing as required by law; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council did hold said Public Hearing and <br />considered said request on June 2, 1992; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, having studied and researched <br />such application, makes the following findings: <br />1. The proposal is consistent with the Agua Mansa <br />Industrial Corridor Specific Plan. <br />2. The proposal will be consistent with the General Plan. <br />3. The proposal is compatible with its environmental <br />surroundings. <br />4. The proposal merits a negative declaration. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the City Council does <br />hereby approve the proposal as requested. <br />
