1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-09-95 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AMENDING SECTION 15.40.030(7) OF CHAPTER 15.40 <br />OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO RE- <br />NAMING OF THE HISTORIC AND SCENIC PRESERVATION <br />COMMISSION <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: Section 15.40.030(7) of Chapter 15 of the Colton Municipal Code is <br />hereby amended to read in its entirety as follows: <br />"'Commission' refers to the Historic Preservation Commission and all references <br />in this ordinance to the historic and scenic preservation commission are in fact <br />references to the Historic Preservation Commission." <br />SECTION 2: If any provisions of this Ordinance or application thereof to any person <br />or circumstances is held invalid, this invalidity shall not affect other applications of this <br />Ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or applications, and to this <br />end, the provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be severable. This Ordinance shall be <br />liberally construed to achieve the purposes of this Ordinance and to preserve its validity. <br />
