1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />s <br />9 <br />io <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />is <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22� <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-07-00 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF Tf� CTI'Y OF COLTON DELETING <br />CHAPTERS 1.12, 6.08, 6.12, 6.20, 6.22, 636, 7.04, 7.09, 926, <br />1024, 12.04 t1ND 18.56, DELETING SECTION 6.28.150(B), <br />ADDING SECTION 15.040.90(C) AND AMENDING TITLE 8 <br />OF TI� COLTON MiJNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO <br />PROPERTY MAINTENANCE, SEASONAL ABATEMENT OF <br />WEEDS, ABANDONED VEHICLES AND ENFORCEMENT <br />PROCEDiJRES <br />WHEREAS, Title 25, section 52 of the Califomia Code of Regulations empowers <br />the City of Colton to use its own abatement procedures so long as these pmcedures are <br />equivalent to the procedures contained in Title 25 section 48 through 70 of the California Code <br />of Regulations, and provided such procedures provide an efficient and effective procedure for the <br />abatement of substandard conditions with fairness to both owners and residents; and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 8.04 of the Colton Municipal Code provides efficient and <br />effective procedures for the abatement of substandazd buildings, structures and nuisances that aze <br />fair and equitable to both owners and residents. <br />I FOLLOWS: <br />Tf� CITY COUNCIL OF Tf� CTI'Y OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS <br />SECTION 1: Chapter 112 (General Penalty), Chapter 6.08 (Sanitation <br />Measures), Chapter 6.12 (Prohibited Activities), Chapter 6.20 (Weeds - Waste Matter), Chapter <br />6.22 (Refuse Abatement), 6.36 (Air Contamination by Orchazd Heaters), 7.04 (Keeping of <br />Animals), 7.09 (Apiaries), Chapter 926 (Graffiti Abatement Procedure), Chapter 10.24 <br />(Abandoned Vehicles), Chapter 12.04 (Obstnictions to Public Ways) and Chapter 18.56 <br />(Property Maintenance) and Section 628.150(B) (Attendants—Instruction—Number on duty), <br />of the Colton Municipal Code are hereby deleted in their entirety. <br />SECTION 2: Chapter 15.04.090(C) is hereby added to the Colton Municipal <br />I Code to read as follows: <br />RVPUB\MXM\510669 <br />-1- <br />
