R-43-87 <br />RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO THE INCLUSION OF THE <br />TERRITORY OF THE CITY IN THE TERRITORY OF THE <br />SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY VECTOR CONTROL PROGRAM <br />ESTABLISHED PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT <br />CODE SECTION 25842.5 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of San Bernardino County has estab- <br />lished a Vector Control Program for a county -wide benefit; and <br />WHEREAS, each City Council may adopt a resolution on consent for the <br />inclusion of its territory in the territory of the program <br />pursuant to Section 25842.5 of the Government Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the public health, safety, and <br />welfare of its constituency will be promoted by inclusion <br />in the program territory; <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON RESOLVES <br />that this City Council approves and consents to the inclusion <br />of the incorporated territory of the City within the San <br />Bernardino County Vector Control Program territory established <br />for provisions of a county -wide Vector Control service, and <br />the services rendered in performance of that program and the <br />concomitant pours exercised as set forth in California Health <br />and Safety Code Section 2200 at seq. including any proper <br />assessments and charges shall be in effect. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 21st day of April, 1987. <br />FRANK CONZALES <br />ATTEST: n / MAYOR <br />HELEN RAMOS, CMC <br />CITY CLERK <br />
