R- 97-87 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE <br />ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF CONGRESS STREET, <br />BETWEEN LYTLE CREEK CHANNEL AND MT. VERNON AVENUE <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton <br />as follows: <br />SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Colton <br />does hereby declare its intention to order the abandonment of <br />a portion of Congress Street as shown on Tract Map No. 2433 on fil< <br />in Book 35 of Maps at Page 14, records of San Bernardino County, <br />California, more particularly described as follows: <br />Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 7 of said <br />Tract No. 2433 also being the Southeast corner of <br />Lot 6, Block 31 of Raynor's Re -Subdivision of Block <br />31 of the Lands of the Colton Land and Water Company <br />as shown by Map on file in Book 17 of Maps at Page <br />33, Records of San Bernardino County, California; <br />Thence N89 3814911E, along the South line of said Lot <br />7 also being the North line of said Congress Street <br />a distanceof 547.08 feet; thence S00 21'11"E, a dis- <br />tance of 33.00 feet to a point on the centerline of <br />said Congress Street; thence S89 38149" W. along said <br />centerline of Congress Street a distance of 663.58 <br />feet; thence Northeasterly on a non -tangent curve <br />concave to the Northwest, having a radius of 694.00 <br />feet, through an angle of 03 45100" an arc length of <br />45.42 feet to a point on the South line of said Lot 6 <br />also being said North line of Congress Street (the <br />initial radial line bears S45 0415611E); thence 89 3814911E <br />along said South line of Lot 6 also being said North line <br />of Congress Street a distance of 85.30 feet to the point <br />of beginning. <br />For further particulars as to the proposed abandonment, <br />reference is hereby made to the map on file in the Office of the <br />City Clerk of Colton, California. <br />SECTION 2.
