R-59-88 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 1988, FOR THE ELECTION OF CERTAIN OFFICERS OF THE CITY AS REQUIRED BY THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA RELATING TO GENERAL LAW CITIES. WHEREAS, under the provisions of the laws relating to General Law Cities in the State of California, a general munici— Ipal election shall be held on November 8, 1988, for the election of (Municipal Officers; and WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of the election it is neces— sary for the City to request services of the County; and WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this service shall be paid by the City of Colton. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That pursuant to the requirements of the laws of the State of California relating to General Law Cities within the State, there is called and ordered held in the City of Colton, California on Tuesday, November 8, 1988, a general municipal election of the qualified electors of the City, to be consolidated with the Statewide General Election, for the purpose of electing a Mayor for the full term of two years; two Members of the City Counci for the full term of four years; a City Clerk for the full term of four years; and a City Treasurer for the full term of four years.
