R-70-88 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, MAKING APPOINTMENTS IN A <br />COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "legislative body of the local <br />Agency"), desires to initiate proceedings to create a Community <br />Facilities District pursuant to the terms and provisions of the <br />"Mello -Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982", being Chapter 2.5, <br />Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code of the State <br />of California. This Community Facilities District shall herein- <br />after be referred to as COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 88-1 <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "District"); and, <br />WHEREAS, at this time, the legislative body is desirous of <br />making the required appointments and designating persons to <br />perform certain duties, in order to allow the proceedings to go <br />forward to completion in accordance with the provisions of law. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and <br />correct. <br />SECTION 2. That throughout the course of these proceedings, <br />the City Council of the City of Colton will be acting as the <br />legislative body of Community Facilities District No. 88-1, a <br />legally constituted governmental entity as defined by Section <br />53317 of the Government Code of the State of California. <br />SECTION 3. All regulatory rules of the City, including <br />date, time and place of meetings, as well as notice requirements, <br />shall be applicable for all proceedings conducted by this <br />
