R-70-89 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON SUPPORTING THE PROPER EDUCATION AND <br />TRAINING IN THE CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION <br />(CPR) AND SUPPORT FOR AB 2039 <br />WHEREAS, the health, welfare and public safety of the <br />entire community also benefits every organization; and <br />WHEREAS, today's students will be tomorrow's business <br />and community leaders; and <br />WHEREAS, it is proven that knowledge of proper cardio- <br />pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques save lives; and <br />WHEREAS, it is beneficial to the entire commmunity to <br />have a large number of persons knowledgeable in CPR. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of <br />the City of Colton, California, fully supports providing <br />training in proper cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) <br />techniques to all teachers and students and supports AB 2039. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 6th day of June , 1989. <br />ATTEST: <br />HELEN A.
