R-117-90 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF <br />A PORTION OF 'J' STREET <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Colton as follows: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Colton <br />having elected to proceed under the provisions of Section 8300 <br />et. seq. of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of <br />California, and having held a public hearing as provided <br />therein, hereby finds from all the evidence submitted that all <br />that portion of "J" Street north of the I-10 Freeway between <br />2nd and 3rd Streets as recorded in Map Book 162, Page 12 <br />records of San Bernardino County, California described as <br />follows: <br />I-10 Freeway north to "J" Street, 3rd Street <br />west to the end of "J" Street. <br />is unnecessary for present or prospective public street <br />purposes and the public interest and convenience requires the <br />closing of said streets, with the City reserving all utility <br />easements. <br />
