r <br />1 <br />2 RESOLUTION NO. R-81-90 <br />3 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />4 CITY OF COLTON TO CHANGE THE STREET <br />5 NAME OF "BARTON RD." TO "WASHINGTON <br />ST." FOR THE DISTANCE BETWEEN <br />6 WATERMAN AVE. AND THE CURRENT <br />TERMINUS OF WASHINGTON ST. <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 WHEREAS, the Traffic Committee of the City of Colton has requested <br />10 said street name change due to their concern that confusion will arise <br />11 from the proposed realignment of the Barton Rd.IWashington St.( <br />12 Cooley intersection which could threaten life and property; and <br />13 <br />14 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request and <br />15 recommended approval (File No. D-31-90) on May 22, 1990. <br />16 <br />17 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />18 Colton that the change of street name from "Barton Rd." to "Washington <br />19 St." at Barton Rd. between Waterman Ave. and Washington St. be <br />20 hereby approved and that all pertinent maps and labels be changed <br />21 accordingly. <br />22 <br />23 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of July, 1990. <br />24 <br />25 Frank Gonzal M r <br />26 <br />27 ATTEST: <br />28 �� �JQ• %1a�J <br />Helen A.
