RESOLUTION NO. R-112-91 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL APPRO- PRIATIONS LIMIT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1990-91. WHEREAS, the voters of California, on November 6, 1979, added Article XIII -B to the State Constitution placing various limitations on the appropriations of the state and local governments; and WHEREAS, Article XIII -B provides that the appro- priations limit for the fiscal year 1990-91 is calculated by adjusting the base year appropriations of fiscal year 1978-79 for changes in the cost of living and population; and WHEREAS, the City of Colton has complied with all the provisions of Article XIII -B in determining the appro- priations limit for fiscal year 1990-91; and WHEREAS, the City of Colton must make the necessary determinations regarding the use of a cost -of -living index change and the population index change beginning in fiscal year 1990-91. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the appro- priations subject to limitation in fiscal year 1990-91 shall be $19,960,042 for the City of Colton, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that for fiscal year 1990-91, the City of Colton selects the California percentage change in per capita income as its cost -of -living index change as determined by the California State Department of Finance. PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of December, 1991.
