R-58 -91 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON TO SIGN THE DELEGATE AGENCY AGREEMENT AND <br />ITS ATTACHMENTS FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK <br />GRANT FUNDS FOR THE FISCAL YEARS 1991-92, 1992-93, <br />AND 1993-94, WITH THE SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY OFFICE <br />OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has been <br />notified by the San Bernardino County Department of Economic and <br />Community Development of its eligibility to participate in the <br />County's three-year Community Development Block Grant Cooperating <br />Cities Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has entered into the Cooperating <br />Cities Agreement which is binding for three years; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has been informed that the City is <br />now requested to enter into a Delegate Agency Agreement and its <br />attachments pursuant to Section 11 of the Cooperating Cities <br />Agreement, which are set forth to further implement the <br />provisions of the Cooperating Cities Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has been informed that the <br />Delegate Agency Agreement and its attachments are specifically <br />subordinate and supplementary to, and concurrent with, the <br />Cooperating Cities Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept said Delegate <br />Agency Agreement, its attachments, and the conditions and <br />responsibilities that relate to said Agreement. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Colton that the Mayor of the City of Colton be authorized <br />to sign the Delegate Agency Agreement, and its attachments, for <br />Community Development Block Grant Funds for the fiscal years <br />1991-92, 1992-93, and 1993-94, and submit said Agreement to the <br />
