R-60-92 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF <br />THE HOLDING OF A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO <br />BE HELD ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 1992, FOR THE <br />SUBMISSION TO THE VOTERS OF THE RECALL OF A CERTAIN <br />OFFICER AND THE QUESTION OF FILLING THE VACANCY IF <br />THE RECALL PREVAILS. <br />WHEREAS, under the provisions of the law relating to <br />cities in the State of California, recall petitions were filed <br />demanding the recall of Connie "Paddy" Cisneros; and <br />WHEREAS, the petitions were signed by more than <br />twenty per cent of the voters of the City of Colton; and <br />WHEREAS, if the recall prevails the question of filling <br />the vacancy by appointment or by special election shall also <br />appear on the recall ballot; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is authorized and directed <br />by statute to submit the proposed recall to the voters; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. That pursuant to the requirfements of the <br />laws of the State of California relating to general law cities, <br />there is called and ordered to be held in the City of Colton, <br />California, on Tuesday, September 15, 1992, a Special Municipal <br />Election for the purpose of submitting the question of the recall <br />of Connie "Paddy" Cisneros, Councilmember and the question of <br />filling the vacancy, if the recall prevails, by appointment or by <br />special election. <br />SECTION 2.
