I RESOLUTION NQ R-131-93 <br />2 <br />RESOLUTION OF TILE CITY COUNCIL <br />3 OF TIE CITY OF COLTON <br />ORDERING FORECLOSURE ACTIONS AND <br />4 APPROVING SPECIAL COUNSEL AGREMENT <br />5 <br />6 VMEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, California, ("CITY"), has heretofore <br />7 undertaken proceedings pursuant to the I THrrovenaent Bond Act of 1915'; being Division 10, of <br />8 the Streets and IRghways Code of the State of California, commencing with §8500 ("ACT"), and <br />9 has levied special assessments upon lands within a Special Assessment District described in a <br />10 Resolution of Intention previously adopted for said improvements, said Special Assessment <br />11 District being designated as Assessment District No. 79-1, ( "DISTRICT'); and, <br />12 <br />13 WFm2EAS, said proceedings provided for the issuance of bonds pursuant to the ACT and <br />14 said bonds were previously issued; and <br />15 <br />16 WFUREAS, collection of all special assessments levied pursuant to said DISTRICT <br />17 proceedings were and are intended to provide timely payment of all amounts or principal and <br />18 interest due and payable pursuant to the terms of the above -referenced bonds; and, <br />19 <br />20 W IEREAS, certain owners of property within the DISTRICT have become delinquent <br />21 in the payment of said special assessments, thereby necessitating the institution of foreclosure <br />22 actions with respect to such parcels. <br />23 <br />24 NOW, TIl[EREFORE, it is hereby resolved as follows: <br />25 <br />26 Section 1. That the above recitals are true and correct. <br />27 <br />281 Section 2. That it is hereby ordered that all delinquent special assessments within the <br />
