R-93-93 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON DESIGNATING A REDEVELOPMENT SURVEY AREA FOR <br />STUDY PURPOSES <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, California, <br />has adopted an ordinance finding the need for a redevelopment <br />agency to function in the City of Colton; and <br />WHEREAS, the redevelopment agency has been duly organized as <br />the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton, with this Council <br />sitting as said Agency; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 33310 of the California <br />Health and Safety Code, this council, as the legislative body, may <br />designate a redevelopment survey area for study purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, a redevelopment survey area is graphically depicted <br />on Exhibit 'A' attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br />reference; and <br />WHEREAS, the area depicted on Exhibit 'A' requires study to <br />determine if the formation of a redevelopment project area is <br />feasible; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 33322, the Planning <br />Commission of the City of Colton shall, at the direction of the <br />City Council, select a project area from within the boundaries of <br />the survey area and formulate a preliminary plan for the area so <br />selected. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton hereby <br />resolves as follows: <br />1. The area depicted in Exhibit 'A' requires study to determine <br />if a redevelopment project, or projects, within said areas is <br />
