R-06-94 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COLTON CITY COUNCIL CALLING FOR <br />FORMATION OF A PROJECT AREA COMMITTEE FOR THE <br />RANCHO/MILL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT, AND ADOPTING <br />PROCEDURES FOR SAID COMMITTEE <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has adopted a <br />Survey Area, and requested said Area to be studied to determine if <br />a redevelopment project within said area is feasible; and <br />WHEREAS, the Colton Planning Commission has adopted Project <br />Area boundaries for the Rancho/Mill Redevelopment Project from <br />within said Survey Area; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 33385 of the California Health and Safety Code <br />provides for the formation of a Project Area Committee by the Colton <br />City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to form a Project Area <br />Committee, which committee will advise and consult with the <br />Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton regarding redevelopment <br />planning and policy for the Rancho/Mill Redevelopment Project. <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed Public Hearing was held on January 18, <br />1994 to review procedures pursuant to the formation of said Project <br />lArea Committee. <br />NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Colton City Council <br />las follows: <br />Section 1: The Colton City Council hereby calls for the <br />formation of a Project Area Committee for the Rancho/Mill <br />Redevelopment Project. <br />Section 2: The City Council hereby adopts, as the procedure <br />for formation of the Project Area Committee, the document attached <br />
