R-01-96 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CAUSE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN <br />IMPROVEMENTS PURSUANT OT THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 5870 ET <br />SEQ., OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA. <br />(CHAPTER 27 DISTRICT NUMBER 96-1) <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby find, <br />determine and declare as follows: <br />(a) That a petition has been received from the property owners <br />representing more than sixty percent (60%) of the frontage <br />in the area requesting the construction of a curb and <br />gutter along the south side of Agua Mansa between Rancho <br />Avenue and 5th Street. <br />(b) That it is the intention of City Council to cause said improvements <br />to be constructed, at the sole expense of the owners of <br />properties in and along said above described area, pursuant to <br />Section 5870, at. seq., of the Streets and Highways Code of the <br />State of California. <br />Section 2. That the Superintendent of Streets is hereby instructed to mail <br />and post notices to construct said improvements, as required by <br />law. <br />Section 3. That pursuant to said Section 5870, et. seq., the City Council <br />does hereby declare that on the 6th day of February 1996 in the <br />Council Chambers, 650 N. La Cadena Drive, Colton, California <br />
