R- 08 -96 <br />2 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />3 CITY OF COLTON AFFORDING SUPPLEMENTAL <br />COMPENSATION TO THE CITY CLERK <br />4 <br />5 <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1572 fixes the salary for the position of City Clerk at $370 per <br />6 month, and authorizes the City Council to provide, by Resolution, supplemental compensation. <br />7 <br />8 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />9 <br />1. Supplemental compensation for City Clerk Malik Freeman, shall be fixed at the sum of $1,200 per <br />10 month, in addition to the sum of $370 per month provided by Ordinance No. 1572, for a total <br />11 compensation of $1,570 per month, effective February 7, 1996. <br />2. Supplemental compensation is specifically authorized for the performance of City Clerk Malik <br />12 Freeman. <br />13 3. Supplemental compensation shall not be provided to subsequent City Clerks, unless so authorized <br />by the City Council. <br />14 <br />4.
