R-109-21 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ALLOWING THE RECEIPT OF FUNDS <br />TO THE EARLY CARE AND EDUCATION DIVISION OF THE COMMUNITY <br />SERVICES DEPARTMENT VIA ASSEMBLY BILL 131, CHAPTER 6. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton, Early Childhood Education Division of the Community <br />Services Department holds one (1) California Department of Education (CDE) Contract, and <br />one (1) California Department of Social Services (DSS) Contract, thus considered a CDE and <br />DSS Funded Agency. <br />WHEREAS, CDE, via Assembly Bill (AB) 131, is authorized to award the Department <br />of Social Services Stipend Program to every DSS funded Agency. <br />WHEREAS, DSS determined the amount of said stipend by the amount of children <br />enrolled in the ECE Programs, based off actual numbers from March 2021. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as follows: <br />Section 1: The staff report accompanying this resolution is found to be true, adopted <br />as findings, and incorporated into this resolution. <br />Section 2: City approves the Department of Social Services Stipend Program. <br />Section 3: In order to account for this funding, it is necessary to amend the Fiscal <br />Year 2021-2022 budget to increase revenues and appropriations as follows. <br />Revenue account <br />206-5890-022 Misc Grants, shall be increased by $10,800 <br />Expenditure accounts <br />206-7200-7207-2304-0000-022 Instructional Materials shall be increased by 10,800 <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPT] <br />ATTEST: <br />�� - .�• <br />CAROLINA R.
