R-27-96 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON REPEALING RESOLUTION R-41-95 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Urgency Ordinance No. 0-04-95, <br />implementing a Utility Users Tax; and, <br />WHEREAS, on July 5, 1995, the City adopted Resolution R-41-95 exempting property <br />owners in residential community facilities districts from the provisions of Ordinance No. <br />0-04-95; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, after carefully considering the effect of the exemption of <br />residents of community facilities districts and on other residents of the City, finds and <br />determines that it is not in the best interests of the City to continue to exempt residents of <br />community facilities districts from paying their fair share of the Utility Users Tax imposed by <br />Ordinance 0-04-95. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />Resolution R-41-95 is hereby repealed and as of this date no longer has any force or <br />effect within the City of Colton. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE City Council of the City of Colton at its regular <br />meeting held on the 20th day of March, 1996. <br />wo, .i <br />George /, <br />ATTEST: <br />7at <br />Malik Dantala Freeman, City Clerk <br />
